This notice explains how Findos Payment Technologies S.A. (“Findos Pay”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it. It covers the public website only. Payment services are provided by licensed providers under their own terms and privacy notices.
Who is responsible
Findos Payment Technologies S.A., 85 Iviskou Street, Acharnes 136 77, Greece, is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. For any privacy question, write to info@findospays.com.
Information we receive
- Enquiries. When you send the “Request a demo” form we receive your name, business email address, company (if you give it), the product area you are interested in and your message. Please do not include payment-card numbers or other sensitive information in the message.
- Technical data. Like most websites, the servers that host this site record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. Your IP address is also used briefly, in an irreversibly scrambled form, to limit repeated form submissions.
We do not process payments through this website and we do not collect payment-card or bank-account details here.
Why we use it
- To answer you. We use your enquiry details to reply, arrange a demonstration and follow up on your request. We do this on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, and in order to take steps at your request before a possible contract.
- To keep the website secure and available. We use technical data to operate the site, detect faults and prevent abuse. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable website.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your details for marketing messages unless you ask us to, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work may be set, for example when an administrator signs in. If we introduce analytics or similar tools, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Sharing and retention
Your enquiry is read by the Findos Pay staff who handle it. We use service providers for website hosting and email, who process personal data on our behalf and under contract. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where the law requires it. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards recognised by EU law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are dealing with your request and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a business relationship follows or the law requires a longer period. Technical log data is kept only for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights and contact
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what was done before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to info@findospays.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.
